Timber dressing/machining services are now available for both Recycled and New timbers as well as slabs and sheet materials.

See below for what services are currently available.

This service is open to anyone. So, whether you’re a tradesman needing to get timbers ready for your next project, a renovator looking to reclaim some timber from your renovation, or someone simply looking to have a few pieces of timber dressed please feel free to contact me to discuss your requirements.

Thicknessing - For both Hardwoods and Softwoods - section sizes up to approx. 610mm wide x 250mm thick.

Planing - For both Hardwoods and Softwoods - section sizes up to approx. 350mm wide x 150mm thick.

Ripping - For both Hardwoods and Softwoods up to 3m long and 90mm thick. Sheet materials such as Plywood, Melamine and MDF up to a maximum length of 3m.

Re-sawing - For both Hardwoods and Softwoods - section sizes up to approx. 450mm x 450mm x 3m. Re-sawing is a rough sawn grade which can be machined to give a dressed finish if required. (please note I cannot re-saw railway sleepers)

Dressing and machining has a minimum 1 hour charge of $130 p/h with any time over the initial hour being charged in 15 minute blocks.

Pricing for larger quantities can be worked out on a job lot, l/m or per pass basis depending on what machining is required.

Sheet material cutting has a minimum $25 charge for setup and initial cut with every subsequent cut being $5.

- All Dressing Services are by appointment only.

- All Recycled and Re-claimed timbers must be de-nailed prior to drop off. If nails are discovered additional charges will apply.
